Sur Last Polyester Marine Fabric, made from high UV resistant polyester, provides outdoor protection for many applications where UV stability and fabric strength are prerequisite.

SurLast® marine fabric can be used for many applications including boat covers, bimini tops, boat storage covers, furniture covers, tonneau covers, luggage, and camping enclosures just to name a few. SurLast® marine fabric is a very colorfast protective marine material. Since it is solution-died, the colors will not fade or wash out. SurLast® marine fabric stands up to wind, rain, pollutants and chemicals that will make other fabrics fade. It has high UV, mold and mildew resistance. Surlast® has excellent tear and abrasion resistance, is non-abrasive to gelcoat and other popular marine finishes and has outstanding silkscreen adhesion. Backed by a three-year manufacturer's limited warranty.

SurLast®'s ease of fabrication, superior strength, and abrasion resistance make it the perfect choice for a variety of cover and marine applications. The urethane coating on SurLast® polyester fabric adds to the stability of the weave. The coating also makes this marine fabric more water resistant as well as shrink/stretch resistant. The coating permits the material to be cut without having to allow for shrinkage/stretch or unraveling. No hot knife or surging is required to fabricate with Sur Last® fabric. For best results and lasting appearance, always sew your project with the fabric side exposed to the sun.

Cleaning Information:

  • Sur Last® is designed to be easy to maintain. It can be washed, or brushed off and rinsed. Proper care and cleaning is important to the life of all fabrics.
  • For normal care and cleaning add two (2) ounces of mild soap (Woolite, Dreft, Ivory) to one (1) gallon of water which is less than 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Clean fabric with "soft bristle brush". Rinse thoroughly with cold water and air dry.
  • For stubborn stains add maximum one (1) cup of bleach to one (1) gallon of water. Spray on lightly to the fabric "face" (non-coated side). Do not soak fabric.
  • Prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals can damage the coating (coated side) of the fabric. Rinse immediately. Do not leave on for more than two (2) minutes.
