What is Nominal Density?
Density refers to the weight in pounds of one cubic foot of foam.
What is ILD?
ILD (indentation load deflection) represents the pounds of compression on one cubic foot of foam required to compress the block by one inch of depth. The higher the number, the more pressure as needed to compress the foam. Thus, a higher ILD represents a stiffer/firmer foam.
